Multiple sources are reporting that the Philadelphia 76ers will select LSU's Ben Simmons with the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft on Thursday. The news was first reported by Chris Haynes with Cleveland.com.


Simmons himself hinted at the news by posing this picture on Instagram Tuesday with the caption "Trust the process."

It's never a bad thing to have a former athlete be the first pick of any draft. Free advertising for the university. Things didn't go as well as we all hoped for the basketball team this year but I still wish him the best.
