LSU freshman defensive back and two-sport athlete Maurice Hampton reported to the West Campus Apartments for fall camp check-in on Thursday with a cast on his right hand.

On Thursday afternoon, head coach Ed Orgeron revealed that Hampton will be "limited a bit" due to a broken bone in his hand.

Orgeron added that the versatile athlete from Memphis will likely start out at safety.
