LSU edge rusher Patrick Payton has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine.
Payton, a 5th-year senior from Miami, Fla, transferred to LSU from Florida State last offseason.
He played in all 12 games this past season, registering 30 tackles, six pass deflections, four tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery.
