NBA Star Andre Drummond Heroically Saves Son After Falling In Pool
© Nell Redmond-USA TODAY Sports
Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond saved his son's life, springing into action after the child accidentally fell into a pool...
quote:

The 28-year-old NBA champ just posted surveillance video of the incident -- with family members hanging together around the pool at his home ... when his 2-year-old son, Deon, tripped into the water.

The 6'10", 280-lb. baller -- completely clothed from head to toe -- dove right into the water without hesitation and scooped Deon out of the water ... with the other family members coming to assist.

Drummond then carries his son (who was born on February 21, 2019) over to another person, who lifts him out of the water to safety.

"NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES ??????????????" Drummond said on Thursday. "A parents worst nightmare….. Feat my son & I ????"

Heroic? What adult on planet earth wouldn't jump in a pool he can stand up in to get his kid?

Heroic is running into a burning building to save a kid, not a grown adult jumping into a pool

Need to teach the child on how to swim. And if not make sure they are wearing some type of floatation device when they are in the pool area.

why would an adult be sitting more than 3 feet away from a 2 year old on the edge of the pool if the child cannot swim properly on his own? props to him for jumping in but this is terrible supervision. this was totally preventable.

Looked staged to me. Heros don't call themselves heros. Others do.

It doesn't take a hero to jump into a four foot deep pool to rescue a child.

True...but the other two sure as hell weren't in a hurry to get wet.

The woman would have let the kid drown before she got her weave wet.

Woman telling him not to do that yet he was at edge of water with no one within 10 feet of him. Glad they were there and everyone is safe

Hero??!! HERO???!!! Because you got your pants wet?? Isn't the actual definition of hero a person, who in an attempt to help/save others, puts his own life/health at risk? What a joke....and he posts this about HIMSELF. Dude don't you get enough attention?

If the two people sitting right beside the kid can’t navigate the water a little better than that then they don’t need to leave him sitting on the ledge like that.

Dumb arse...nobody near the kid.

The dam phone is more important as usual. She should have been watching the kid to begin with right next to the pool.
