“Brent Venables is the best defensive coordinator I’ve gone against,” Meyer said. “What makes him so good, and so hard to prepare for, is three distinctly different styles of defense.”

“He plays a 4-3 defense, then you have to get ready for odd, then you have to get ready for bear defense. That’s almost impossible to do, especially in a short week.”

Doesn’t hurt the culture, attitude part of the program to play in a garbage league where you can rack up win after win and not be challenged. Confidence And believing you’re gonna win is most of the battle on Saturday.

His only downfall is he’s a giant Sissy (wanted To use another word). Will never leave for a HC job cause it’s easy to be dominant against scrubs week in and week out.

Wouldn’t knock him for that in fact I appreciate people who know their roles and wanna stick with what they like and are good at. Better than taking a head coaching gig somewhere and getting fired and moving his family all over the damn map. Saying that LSU waxed that arse.
