Auburn tight end/defensive lineman J.J. Pegues announced Tuesday that he is heading back to his hometown of Oxford, Mississippi, and transferring to Ole Miss.
The former four-star prospect signed with Auburn as a big-bodied tight end but was moved to defense last offseason.
