What's you boys opinions on theses two novels, specifically Judge Noose and Atlee?

Didn't read Sycamore Row. A Time To Kill did a better job than the movie developing the events prior to the shooting (to be fair, the movie had time constraints). Noose was a fair judge. He tried to keep the trial from being too much of a circus and didn't allow shenanigans from either side.
