I feel Image has taken a small step backwards, but they were so far out in front of the field, it doesn't matter. Their recent crop of new titles isn't quite as strong as 2-3 years ago. Which reminds me... WARREN ELLIS: finish Trees and Injection!
Boom! Studios is now a serious entrant into the best publisher sweepstakes. Not quite there yet, but they have some great stuff. but no one can compete with Image's catalog over the past decade. It's ridiculously deep, and there's something for almost every taste.
