I am finishing up a very good history of Ireland, but it was written in 1989. I want something that covers the history of The Troubles through the 1998 accord and today. I'm going to Ireland next summer and want to be well read on the subject. Any recs?

This one is good. In fact, it's called The Troubles.
Read it a long time ago but found it to be very good. Really focuses on when the Troubles really started in the 1960's to present but also gives some good background as to what lead up to it. I believe it goes through the Stormont Good Friday accord negotiated by Clinton.
