The lack of understanding of what it takes to win in the modern cfb world from arky fans is truely laughable. Y'all keep saying y'all want to win and say hiring kiffen will fix that....but it won't. It's a good start but wtf is your ADs vision to not be a permanent fixture at 5th in your division? Where is the money coming from?
Yes your facilities are great, but they aren't better than Bama, LSU, A&M, Auburn, UGA, or UT and they are not significantly better than ole Miss or MSU, nor do you have much more money than ole Miss according to revenue reports.
Does arky have a seperate fundraising organization like bama and the REC and LSU with TAF?
I was asking legit questions, but y'all wanna pretend getting kiffen is gonna solve everything and it won't. We didn't suddenly start competing again because of Brady and burrow, when Ed came on and was talking to kiffen he was embarrassed by how far bama was of LSU as far as game planning and scouting due to the analyst positions. We have committed significantly to bringing on more and more support staff with quite a few dedicated solely to recruiting. The locker room was another big thing that has helped in recruiting.
What is arky gonna do to get enough kids from Texas to start competing?

Our facilities will compare with anyone in the SEC, and believe it or not... Better from top to bottom than most.
Out locker rooms are awesome, redone at the same time as the EZ addition/Clubs, tunnel, party deck, etc.
Out training facilities are incredible and so is our nutrition center. We have top notch facilities and I would bet be better than Tenner, OM, MS, Mizzou, Vandy, and most likely... Swallow hard now. LSU! We don't hold as many in our stadium, but our facilities are INCREDIBLE. we have not lagged behind in facilities in 5-8 years now. Damn dude. You get triggered way too easy. 777 supposed to be better than 666...

Has nothing to do with that and you do not have nicer facilities than the 5 biggest spenders. They are nice and I acknowledged that, but they aren't better.
You say I don't know wtf I am talking about...tell me where I am wrong, provide the links.
This is the bottom line...arky doesn't have a recruiting base and must do something to start attracting better recruits. Your talent level is not good and will get worse after this recruiting class. You can't just be as good as the big names in front of you, you have to be better and spend more.
If the rumors are true about the 10illion for kiffen and his staff....well that's not gonna get it done. That's more of the same.
Nw arky is beautiful, I freaking love it there,but there are no recruits. Your campus and facilities are top notch but they are not over the top better than others you need to pass to compete. You aren't outspending the schools you need to pass and you are not bringing in the money y'all claim to have.
Forgive me for wanting to have an actual discussion other than going back and fourth over who will get kiffen. Forgive me for understanding that the things I mentioned are more important than the overall hire because it shows the commitment to winning and lays the groundwork.
God forbid I question the school hiring a coach after their last two coaches went winless their first row year in the league.

And I would most definitely put our facilities up against Tennessee.. .Lordy mercy, that cramped concrete jungle is terrible as a stadium.
And I am not just speaking of the stadium... The new Jones athlete performance and nutrition center is incredible. Our facilities are not really below anyone overall. And I am not talking about cramming butts in seats, but overall facilities. Baseball, Track, Basketball is better now and getting more in the next 2 years. and football.
Facilities are not a problem in this for us. Recruiting demographics is most definitely an issue. With the right coach, and staff that will be better. FWIW
