Cignetti left a bare cupboard, literally only 10 players left on the roster. No coaching staff. Chesney had to start from scratch.

I think he's the best hire of this cycle, but man, UCLA is in a BAD place right now.

I dont UCLA is much better job than JMU. Wonder how much they are paying.

JMU was built before Cignetti was hired.

i agree but they had a very good reputation because of Cignetti.

I dont think he is the best hire but i think it is a good one

but ucla has to decide if they actually want to invest in football or not, period.

I'll be interested in seeing the terms if true. They had to have made some serious promises to get him out there.

They do have that annual check from USC.
