Yep, nailed it.

BTW, I'm in Magic Kingdom as I type this, and am checking the CC board when I can.

Today alone has been glorious!

The numbers I'm reading are just a little hard to believe. Bama offering 7M is somewhat believable. Texas increasing the new offer by over 50% (with LHN) is just sick. If Texas wants to drop that kinda cash, more power to them.

That's like getting a massive raise at work, and then having another company come and offer 50% to 60% more.

Brother Texas got all the oil money in the world. Let'em geaux and nothing wrong if they believe bringing the Nickster in is worth that much.

Factor in that Bama has helped Saban achieve a 91% winning percentage over the last 5 yrs, to go along with those National Championships and it's easy to see why Bama is the pinnacle of college football.

If this is your metric than Mount Union under Larry Kehres is the pinnacle of college football. .929 winning %, 11 national titles, 4 runners up, 23 conference titles & 21 undefeated seasons.

Just a snapshot in the grand scheme of things. Nobody touches the success that Bama has historically. Nobody. Bama = the end all, be all of college football.

lulz. $3 million more isn't enough to pry a coach of Saban's caliber away from the greatest program college ball has ever known. There's such a thing as intangibles, and Bama has em. Not some booster meddling, cow poke, wannabe Champions from North Mexico.
