Something about that seems illegal. If they already have been contacting him, and he know's he is coming here. He could be on the recruiting trail for Bama and telling the players, "Look, I have on the Crimson, but Im recruiting for the Tigers." If not illegal seems a little immoral.

I think there will be several Shula recruits that want to come also. Plus at least three trustees.

Hey, if Del Rio comes, we might end up with Shula, and Monken back also. They are both on the Jaguars current coaching staff.

Guys....this is all fun to read, but it's getting to be almost too much fun. You guys are a HOOT! Saban can't go out on Alabama's dime, recruit players to UA, then take them to LSU. The NCAA doesn't look kindly on that sort of thing. He's recruiting specific players that Bama needs anyway - your needs are different.
I don't care one way or another, and most Bama fans I talk to die laughing that this rumor is even out there - but they also say if he's stupid enough to go to LSU after one year at Alabama, after all the pounding he took from the media all year, and ruin his credibility FOR ALL TIME, then LET HIM GO. We don't need anyone that stupid coaching at Alabama. We've had our share of stupidity at the helm.

Not sure where "there" is. I grew up on the northshore of Pontchatrain, but graduated from Hoover and have lived in Birmingham for six years now.
