Ok frickers. You want the scoop? Miles' last season at LSU is following the 2016 season. No matter the outcome of the next 2 years. Cam will be head coach when he hangs it up. Look for the candidate that Cam would want. There's your answer. Easy as pie.

I hate to say I disagree. IMO Miles wants to coach until his youngest daughter (Laci) graduates H. S. 4-5 more years. That's why he got his contract as long as he does.

Not that I disagree but saying he wants to keep working long days until all of his kids are finally old and moved out of the house doesn't really make sense. If coaches retire because of their kids it's to spend more time with them. Not to wait til they are all old enough to be in college and moved out of the house
And it's not like he needs the job from a financial standpoint

Carolina's D is bad arse as well. I don't think we can get either DC. Hire the Lb coach to be DC and keep Raymond and bring in O lol

Definitely agree with the financial standpoint.
IMO Miles is just wired to work hard and long hours. Doesn't want to retire or move until Laci graduates. Look what happens to a lot if people who retire. The Bear and Jo Pa was dead less than a year after retirement.
