If LSU, Florida and Ole Miss are all offering the same money wise, I could see him saying “frick LSU and Landry”. Because financially it makes no difference to him

Divide Florida’s 30 by Miami, FSU & UF, then assume UGA, Bama, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio St, Michigan, USC, Texas could pull at least 3-5 of Florida’s best HS players.

Now would you rather have Florida or Louisiana as your recruiting stomping ground.

Not only does LA have more NFL players per capita but also those players average making more $ in the NFL.

I'll make a quick argument for the State of Florida.....Louisiana tends to produce an over-abundance of athletes that fit into the body type of WR/DB (a majority of which have to go to smaller schools or out-of state, because LSU can only take so many). In typical recruiting cycles LSU has to go out of state to find linemen and linebackers. Don't get me wrong, Louisiana has produced many great linemen and linebackers over the years, just the concentration of same is fewer and farther between.

Florida due to size alone, will produce a large number and broader range of player body types. With the population of Florida being roughly 4 times the size of Louisiana, on a standard distribution curve, the State of Florida will produce a broader width and depth of body types than Louisiana.

Granted, the competition may be greater in the State of Florida for any given athlete, however, the availability of different types of athlete will also be greater.
