Jesus Christ

This is wrong.

Guys, both the play caller and the QB can both contribute to the success of a team. (also credit to Steve E)

Lots of folks, Burrow being first on the list, get credit for 2019. But Joe Brady changed the 2018 team to what we saw in 2019 as well with the style of play. He personally did that. Give him his credit.

A Rhule/Brady combo would be fantastic.

If this happened I would get very excited about next year. Brady don't have to recruit hard we have people for that, it's obvious his system works in college

No to Brady. He's been an absolute failure in the NFL and is the most overrated coach in LSU's message board history

Me too. Would be a home run for sure

Yes but he's in no way unique.

Brady can both be integral to the change in offense in 2019 and not a great OC at the same time. It didn't require a great OC, just new concepts that E didn't have. There are a ton of other college offensive guys who could have brought these concepts to LSU.

On his own, he has shown to have major issues coordinating an offense. He also hates recruiting and his shine from 2019 is gone for recruits. There are other, better options to run the offense than Brady.

His recruiting issues would be the biggest red flag. But making it as a play caller or HC in the NFL is a crapshoot. The panthers are terrible and their best offensive player is injured. I mean look at the Saints as an example. You need good players to stay healthy to call plays that work.

Saban struggled in the NFL. Urban is also struggling. There's a big difference between college and pro. I think Rhule would be a great hire.

Bama fans rejoiced when he left

That said...Brady is an NFL guy...

He said as much

Doesn't like to recruit

You think that sort of program was invented by Joe Brady?

Neither positive or negative, obvious observation.

I said months ago...LSU will most likely be in the rinse and repeat pattern of buyouts.

No I believe he would do a great job here. What he accomplished at Baylor was impressive. It has nothing to do with us not getting Riley. I never bought any of the Riley shite.

Well, carolina would like nothing more than LSU to pickup the tab for their horrible hire.

That's more true for college. The NFL is about coaching talent. You're dealing with pros and no recruiting and going up against relatively even talent.

I mean look at the Saints as an example.

The Saints are in a throwaway year on effectively a 3rd QB with our #1 WR out and our RB star hurt a bunch and we were respectable all things considered. The Saints have a higher ypg than the Panthers with all those issues.

You think SP would have a bottom-5 offense with those WRs and Darnold for most of the year?

We're rolling out Calloway and Semien and Mark Ingram with 3 backup OL

To say this without mentioning the WRs Burrow was throwing to is disrespectful. That being said, I think Brady will be more than fine back in a situation where he has superior talent across the board once again.
