I’m not anti Brady, but I would love to know how many plays Ensminger called vs. Brady in 2019. Coach E always seems to be the forgotten man.

.LSU will most likely be in the rinse and repeat pattern of buyouts.

This would be true if we hired a guy like Napier...maybe Stoops.

We're about to invest too much to be in this cycle. We won't have the money to buy this contract out.

I give Brady respect, but he's shown over time that there's a reason he was a nobody before he came to LSU.

He also would likely command a huge salary and he's not worth that sort of investment. Let him actually grow and develop and maybe one day he'll be that elite OC. LSU fans just have battered wife syndrome after so many years of Les's shitty offense and then 2 years of O's offensive roller coaster.

This would be the completion of the ultimate hail mary

No make no mistake. If this did happen it would be no Hail Mary. This would be the game where the mythical Secret Playbook was the entire offensive gameplan.

No, there is nobody left...so you convinced yourself he'll work out.

This is dumb. Many of us have had Rhule and/or Urban at the top of our lists from the beginning.

Bama fans rejoiced when he left

That said...Brady is an NFL guy...

He said as much

Doesn't like to recruit

At the same time, he jumped up too soon. Don't see him as a head coach or OC in the NFL next year unless Panthers stick with him. Would he take LSU O/C job over being an NFL QB coach or offensive assistant job in the NFL.

Don't forget Brady had Drew Brees prior to Burrow so not too shabby a list of QB's to work with, right?

The panthers had Donald...who throws pics..

Lost 22

Then brought back Cam...who is drifting into retirement because his head isn't right

Hard to win with key pieces not great

Not all multi millionaires, but the Burrow effect is real

Brady and Orgeron +
the offensive staff that left LSU after 2019 for gr$$ner pastures +
the 2019 offensive staff that returned to LSU in 2021 +
New staff hired because of their association with Brady in Carolina

And when do you think this would take place?

I think if it happens they agree to mutually agree to part ways. Tepper doesn’t have to pay $50 million in buyout money and let’s him leave. Win-win

The Saints are in a throwaway year on effectively a 3rd QB with our #1 WR out and our RB star hurt a bunch and we were respectable all things considered. The Saints have a higher ypg than the Panthers with all those issues.

You think SP would have a bottom-5 offense with those WRs and Darnold for most of the year?

None of the Saints WRs or TEs could make an LSU roster right now.

I do not but I also don’t think Joe Brady is as good of an offensive mind as Sean Payton

Which doesn’t mean much in terms of how well he could do back at LSU

end of the day, the hire would be Rhule. I wouldn’t care if he brought Brady or not but I wouldn’t hate it
