If we do all this and Kiffin doesn’t come, then it’s for the best

This is getting dragged out so much that each day it feels like Kiffin isn’t coming. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if some absolute wildcard happens and he goes back the NFL to the Giants to coach Dart.
I really wanted a young, hungry coach who wants to be at LSU and build the program because he wants to prove himself. Not someone already grossly paid. We just learned that lesson with Kelly.
Outside of Smart, Day, and Lanning, LSU should be able to hire anyone in the country with a supposed $90M+ contract and $25M+ roster commitment.
