Or is this all a facade by Saban to hide his true intentions until the final hour?
You know what, you're right.
I guess I have to say it. Nick Saban is not going to be the Texas coach.

I'm sure you predicted winless Auburn to be in the SEC title game and BCS contention. Totally.

They changed head coaches. If florida did the same i have no doubt theyd be a much improved team in 2014

Saban will still be at Texas next year...

If Florida was a good team next season, would you really be shocked? I wouldn't. Sorry.

seems like this is absolute prrof the Texas rumors were real. I told a friend yesterday, he is leaving or Bama throws more money at him this week. I think it's a mistake on Bamas part dues to the fact he will moat likely lose some assistants.

Bama has lost and replaced a lot of assistants in Saban's tenure. Why should that affect Saban's salary?

So what will the story be next year ... Cowboys? UT again? Ooops, gotta re-up for more $$ again.
Pretty soon you gumps will need to have a Saban tax withholding on y'all paychecks.
That's almost as funny as Les playing y'all via Arkansas.

Does this mean that big12fan or whatever he's called will kill himself? God I hope so.
How can my being dead be so important to you? How have I harmed you?

Les is a man of integrity and would never do such a thing. you take that back right now.

Oh well. Guess we'll just keep contending for Chicken Bowls.

Ok I understand - no hard feelings. But I've yet to be proven clownish at this point. If anything, events seems to bear up what I've been saying all along. The deal that is the subject of this post has been on the table for some time now. Maybe Bama sweetened it, maybe not. If you think that Mr. Saban has not been talking to Texas people in detail via his agent, then you are mistaken. Let's see how this ends. Life goes on with or without Saban. Both sides are guilty of exaggerating his importance.

His agent played yall for a raise. He was never leaving.

Face it pal, he's been playing both sides. And until there is proof that he has signed the new deal, you might want to hold off on your contention that he was never leaving. Just saying, not predicting, since we all know that Saban is famous for being unpredictable.
