If LG was not worth his salt then Haywood would not bring him to Pitt or is that still part of the deal for JJ? 
Haters gonna hate and I understand some on this board think he is a POS but there are a bunch of POS coaches that can still flat out coach. The credibility of some dude that claims he was friends with football players under LG and they all say he was not a good coach is so solid. I would go further to explain some things about what happened at McNeese during the "Golden Years" under LG but the truth is none of you care about facts only that you hate him and thats all you can do. Yea, I said he can coach in the SEC one day or a major D1 college but thats impossible because now he is at PITT.

Dude your are over exaggerating a DC/DB coaches importance during a time in which McNeese had BJ Sams Luke Lawton and a host of skilled player talent.........but yes it was all Lance Guidry. He did such a great job shutting down Western Kentucky in Chattanooga..........
Seriously.......I'm not discrediting Lance Guidry's ability in any way.........BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL he would have a got a job at Miami of Ohio if his son wasn't a hot commodity 2 years ago.
As for going with Haywood, coaches keep what they are familiar with all the time.......and Lance Guidry does have some legit experience between McNeese and Miami of Ohio and a developed relationship with Haywood so it isn't that crazy to see why he is going there.
But quit putting Lance Guidry on some coaching pedestal like he is the 2nd coming. He used is son to gain leverage in a career.
