May I ask why you continue to state that LM "cared" about this team rather than "cares" about this team? You have used it twice in the past tense. I believe that Miles still "cares" about this team and I hate that the media is having a field day with all of this and at the expense of this group of guys who have given their all this season.

I don't want to see LM go, but don't hate him for going.

Les did fine by your team, and basically has to give a yrs salary to leave. I mean WTF, Be happy with the wins you got while he was here, and yoru get your cheering gloves on for a hopefull LSU win today.

I am not sure Miles gets hired at Michigan if he stayed at Oklahoma State. This is where he was discovered on the national scene.

"It seems that Bo was always fond of Les, recalling Miles visiting him after his open heart surgery in his book. If Moeller had coached another 5-10 years, Miles would have been the successor (either directly promoted as a UofM assistant or from Oklahoma State/Dallas Cowboys) with Bo's public blessing. If we're talking anywhere between 2000-2005, Lloyd probably would have been too old at that point to start a head coaching tenure. Lloyd actually interviewed for the Wisconsin job after the '89 season, but the job went to Barry Alvarez"

LSU was already great when he got here.

He won many games and lost few, BUT has trouble winning titles.

It's hard to say that he'd do a good job with a program as tattered as Mich's, but who knows?

Michigan isnt truly "tattered"....it needs a new regime for sure...and a S/c coach to bring it into the current fad.

100k seat stadium getting a 240M upgrade, and a new offseason workout facility.

You guys keep running Michigan down, and folks should get facts straight
