We've won 4 SEC titles over the last 21 seasons and 1 of them was a tie (1988). Winning SEC titles isn't something that every coach at LSU has done. I think Miles had better win Saturday or he will be remembered for doing less with more by many of the fans. Nonetheless, he shouldn't be judged on a season by some "money game" in Atlanta. Just like in '86 and '88, SEC titles are won in a regular season. If you ask me, he did everything but technically win the SEC title 2 years ago as what he did with that team in 13 straight weeks of Katrina's hell was nothing short of a miracle. He couldn't get a wounded team to win the championship game vs. UGA in their backyard.
I am not the biggest Miles fan and am glad we're moving to what appears to be brighter pastures. I will still give him more credit than many of his bashers would dream of giving him. 32 wins...impressive, no matter. How he won them may not be, considering. Hopefully, he finihses his all-time LSU record at 33-6.
