I feel sorry for Dave Hart. Whoever he hires besides JG is guaranteed to be an enormous disappointment.

I find it hilarious that UT fans have already doomed their next coach to failure. He will literally be on the hot seat before he has even coached a down.
The new coach goes 11-1? "Gruden would've been undefeated! This guy is a bum!"
A 5* chooses Bama or UGa over the Vols? "This guy isn't a closer! Gruden would be processing 4-stars off the roster by now with all the 5-stars he'd be signing,"
Gonna be fun to watch.

I don't know if you noticed, but there are Tennessee fans that actually convinced themselves for three years that Derek Dooley was something other than a total loser.
Tennessee fans want Gruden. People will be disappointed if it's not him. But once the new coach is hired, the masses will get behind him. If it's a terrible hire, there may be criticism at first, but soon enough, you'll be hearing about how he's doing as well as possible given the circumstances. Tennessee fans are so terrified of change that they'll accept pretty much anything. The bar was set so low for Dooley and it's amazing how he managed to limbo under it for three yeras.
