when this is signed, Jamail and Texas basically OWN Saban. a very expensive endentured servant lol
That shits right in line with how Nick Saban has spent the first 62 years of his life.

I'm sure he & Terry are ready, willing and able to spend the final years of their lives as endentured servants. Bowing to the whim of a bunch of filthy rich Texas boosters. Saban loves feeling "owned" by wealthy men.

I think you may misunderstand my point of view, it is a train wreck however it goes, nothing will ever be the same

So it will be a train wreck when he gets paid what he wants and re-signs his contract? Do you people even read what you are about to post?

its public record. and the $10m from the browns doesn't solve his problem. its the debt my friend. if Jamail is really paying that off, then that is a huge trump card

So your belief is that a Texas booster is going to pay off 40 million of Saban's debt so he'll be the next coach at Texas. Let's just make sure you are on the record here.

For the record if you are going to pay a coach 40 million why not go after Sean Payton, Bellicheck, a Harbaugh, Mike Tomlin?

this is about the 4th time Saban has extorted Alabama. after getting schooled by Malzahn the jig is up. the shine is off that statue. it will never be the same there anymore.

Bama fans remind me exactly of LSU fans back then. In complete denial.

Its not as simple as them "paying off his debt". they are buying up the bad debt a signficant difference. now he owes them and not his creditors and they can at a certain point of him signing with Texas simply tear up his note--a piece at a time

its not like Saban isn't already under contract at Alabama for a very high salary and tons of perks. you know that right? why would he need another new contract to stay where he is already under contract?

I wouldn't call it extortion for a coach who is asking for a raise after a couple titles. I would call it extortion if, say, he was using another school to get a raise after a loss in the Chicken Bowl.

So you don't think they are paying off his 40 million they are buying up his debt in pieces and going to ransom his job with it?

I just want to make sure I'm clear on your stance here.

so its down to this, uncle sam will foot the bill for nick saban trying to play donald trump. That would be super rich texas alum assumes saban bad debt to get saban to come to texas. Debt is declared a loss and used as tax write off when super rich alum makes money elsewhere.

why do you think Joe Jamail is behind this? Jamail is Mack Brown's attorney FYI

I would lean towards Tom Hicks being the main organizer of the Deloss Dodd ouster which set the table for the end of Mack Brown era
