They need to fire whoever is in charge of making moves. Id have to assume you let the coach make some roster decisions? If not, then they are going to suck for a while. They could have used last draft to get better as a team. Failed miserably.

I have as well and you're dead on. The O-line hasn't done him any favors but Mett's biggest problems remain his inability to do several critical things at the NFL level:
- Recognize blitz pick-up before the snap
- Avoid staring down receivers, especially his first read
- "Feel" pressure / manipulate the pocket
- Use touch instead of raw arm strength on short passes
- Throw the ball away to live another down rather than take a sack
You can blame the O-line and young, underperforming WR's all you want, but their lack of protection/performance has little to do with these things.

Yeah, their talent evaluators need to be evaluated...bigtime. Taking Sankey as the first tailback off the board in '14 pretty much sums it up.
I'm glad they made this move, though. I guess it's a start.
