He only got elected because of his name recognition and he was a puppet who could be controlled. Guy doesn’t even live in Alabama.

He’s been pretty solid on the trading too. One of the top traders in Congress. And low and behold, he opposes the new bill on the ban of congressional members trading individual stocks.A ban would, And I quote, “really cut back on that amount of people who would want to [serve in Congress].”
Must be nice sitting on the Senate Armed Services Committee and also trade defense stocks.

I despised him when he was coaching. I look back fondly on a lot of guys like him and spurrier now. They’re what make the rivalries what they are.
