Meanwhile Hog fans think Gundy is a better fit than Strong
Hopefully that shakes out and we're both happy
IMO It just comes down to whats tailored better for the individual program. I think Strong with his Deep south recruiting ties would be a better fit for us. Vice Versa for Gundy with OK,TX, Etc for you guys

Just in my personal opinion, I don't think Fedora will leave. If we have to, I think they give him more money. They just updated facilities, and have gotten alumni, and students more involved in the program. He is behind all the different uniform looks that we had this year, and I think he is genuinely happy right now. The expectations at UNC aren't nearly as high as they are at UT, and the only teams they have to compete with are Clemson, and FSU. Maybe Va Tech, but they are on a steady downhill decline. Fedora has younger kids, and I think he is looking to stay put somewhere for them to settle in.

I didn't keep an eye on Fedora's defense this year at UNC, but at USM, his defenses were atrocious.

UNC & UofL played earlier this year, with the W going to Strong.

Our D was atrocious as well. Held Miami below 20, and I think that was the lowest, as far as FBS schools go. He just wants to outscore his opponents. I think he would fail, and fail miserably at UT.

Damn, I know Tennessee doesn't want that. He seems to be a great offensive mind, but his defenses have always been bad. Also, if USM hires his OC Blake Anderson, that may hinder his offense a little, but I doubt it will greatly affect anything.
