The numbers in the link you posted are what the school would have to pay to fire the coach. I'd be surprised if any of those numbers apply to a what the coach would have to pay to go elsewhere. Jimbo, for example, wouldn't pay anything to leave A&M.

$25M is what's left on Riley's contract. Woody's last football contact was $70M, so LSU is not going to have any trouble exceeding the $25M Riley is guaranteed from OU. (BTW The buyout is b/t $5 and $8M.)
