Arkansas interviews three candidates but Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville isn't one of them
The Northwest Arkansas Times in Fayetteville said on its Web site Monday that Arkansas has interviewed Clemson head football coach Tommy Bowden, Tulsa offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and Michigan defensive coordinator Ron English. New Arkansas Athletics Director Jeff Long canceled his trip to New York to handle the coaching search.

He has no better record than Nutt in alot weaker conference.

I'm afraid that you are correct. I believe the admin at Arkansas thought they had better options and those options have fizzled. Now they are scrambling to get the best available person who is willing to come to Arkansas for ANY price. It sounds like Bowden is the best available option and that will just keep you at about the level Nutt had the program. It could get ugly if Bowden falls through!

Multiple callers have called and said Gus has resigned as OC at Tulsa.
