Lynn, keep throwing the football against Auburn in '94, Amedee? Please tell you're joking.

Sid Edwards is definetly not an offensive mastermind. Lewis Cook, Ted Davidson, Frank Monica, those are offensive football coaches that really know the game. Not recruiters.

Sid Edwards is an offensive genius! Another good one is Guy Blanchard.

Vice does a good job, but he is not a mastermind. Vice and Mahaffey run an offense that was bought and packaged by the offensive coordinator at La Tech. Being a mastermind is not running an offense you payed for
Which offenses are not bought or stolen? Find me someone who has designed their own offense recently. Coaching is stealing other people's idea's. Neil Weiner, Chad Mahaffey, and I all run the same offense and all have success. I am fine admitting we "bought" it because it works. None of us claim to be "masterminds" we are trying to build programs, lead young men, and win games.

Denny Duron is the best the state has ever seen. The offensive run Evangel went on from 1992-2002 will never be matched.

No one said you don't do a good job and no one said you said you are a mastermind. I just think this thread is kind of silly and some of the names being thrown around on here make me laugh.

One of the best one's in the state right now is Thomas Bachman the OC at Bastrop.

Gotta admit, Duron was ahead of his time @ Evangel..And he beat some very talented temas along the way.
