OK now defend a guy who hasn’t coached in college in 35 years and was .500 in the NFL and out of coaching for half a decade….
Don’t give a frick about his YouTube likes and I can give 2 fricks about what’s woke.
That shite would be used against LSU in recruiting. None of the current recruits were born when he won the Super Bowl man. Come back to reality.

Very few can scheme as well as LK, while they’re doing all tbe head coach things, and heading up a very large recruiting/scouting operation, and laughing off all the criticism and doubts in public press conferences.
Lane could do all that, and bring players in because of his reputation.
I’m not sure he’s worth the money either. And I think he could likely not work out here.
But ya gotta admit- he has a very unique set of qualifications to be a SEC head coach.

I fully agree with you on this… I’m not saying Kiffins bad. I think he would be a good coach but I don’t like going all in like this. 100 million is insane for Kiffin. I just get a weird vibe from the guy like I did with Kelly

I think you’ve been treated unfairly for your post but, to be fair, it sends the message that you are new to college football coaching searches when you mention Gruden. It seems like you were sincere in that and believe me you aren’t the first. It’s just that his name is in every search for every team for a couple decades now…it’s become a running joke that someone new to this wouldn’t recognise. No harm, no foul. I just wanted to make you aware of why you will take a lot of shite for mentioning his name.

What’s crazy is what kiffin can do at ole miss can be done anywhere now… they got lucky with a d2 qb and of course they got several wrs and rb from portal. It’s not difficult to do anywhere and with nil now any body can do it
