Dennis Franchione. I wish that man no harm, just that he die a slow, painful death.

And of course that was with R.C.'s players who had probably spent more years in College Station than he should have.

First thing you have to remember is this all started when A&M was an all Male Military school. So a lot of its traditions began with a military background but have evolved over the years. In the Corps you are defined by your class level and through that you receive privileges. The Whoop is a Junior and Senior Privilege. This has carried over to the general student population as well. Yes you could Whoop as a freshman outside the Corps but then what’s the point.

The difference between the Junior and Senior Whoop’s are the hand signs when doing them.
Juniors make a gun sign pointing down. Seniors make a gun sign pointing up.

The only reason why I have heard is that the Seniors are showing off their rings while the Juniors are hiding the fact that they don’t have one.

Is it dumb? Yeah, but it is a tradition and since it is something that you “earn” people take is fairly seriously.

Well, there you go. If it works for you, keep it up.

HOOAH.

Did bob stoops have it out for yall or was it just a case of a team being that good and one being that bad?

Pretty sure it was us being that bad. Stoops called off the dogs in the 3rd quarter or it could have been worse. They could have hung 100 on us that day. But that is in the past. We stuffed them 3 times on the goal line last year, and were simply the better team.

I do have the game in Norman this year marked down as a loss though, but I would be surprised if it was a blow out.

Both?

Stoops has a thing about being beaten and taking revenge it seems.

We beat them in college station 30-26 in 2002. He got revenge in 2003.

We beat them in College Station last year 33-19 which means this year could get fun.

Course we were also 4-8 in 2003.. so we sucked.

He definitely had it out for us after we beat them the year before when they ranked #1. It didn't help we were horrible though.

Whats this shite I have read on UT forums about the ATM tradition of the Jizz Jar? I thought having the ATM rivalry back would be nice, but the more I read about those freaks, I'm not so sure.
