Who let you out of the Poliboard?

NC State. I think joining the SEC would bump them up to a South Carolina-type program in a hurry, so they could compete. They have a strong football culture and would be a nice addition to UK, UF and UT for basketball.
Plus I live in Raleigh and want the Tigers to come play here every few years.

Not a fan of adding any of these but, watching yesterday, GA Tech vs. UNC did not look like SEC product while Clemson vs. Fla. State did.
We hear a lot about Mizzou bringing in the Kansas City and St. Louis markets, but does the Big 12 currently get a lot of benefit from those markets?

According to this article, they are the 23rd biggest market for TVs. That's bigger than the South Carolina market.

NC State would be awesome. Decent basketball and alright football. But I think what people forget is that when it comes to the W-L column in the SEC it's basically a zero sum game. We can't all be 9+ win teams all the time. It's great to think these programs can come in and be great and all, but if that happens it comes at the expense of someone else, which is fine. But let's not act like adding A&M and whoever else means more overall wins for SEC teams.

welcome.
You guys bring an intense form of IDENTIFICATION that even SEC team fans will find overwhelming at first.
I was hoping you guys would get in. Pee on Baylor. I should look up some hilarious art work in cartoon form someone did last year when it looked like Tex A&M would get into the SEC last year, or was interested, anyway. It portrays Baylor as a teddy bear being crucified. I guess they got wind of that (hence the lawsuit chatter).
I am not nearly as slow as busey even though we both pull for UK hoops. I am already quite cool with USCe and Arky being in the SEC.
As for your question, I would prefer Missouri. I was hoping the Okies and Tex would be able to bolt for the Pac12/14 or whatever it is, so that the Texas league would fall apart. It was looking like Missouri was asking to be in the SEC for a couple of days there. It makes sense in geography. When I drove thru the bootheel part, it was all south all the time. I know the northern end of the state is another matter, but hey! you cant have everything.
And it looks like the ACC is solid now.
We coveted a couple of ACC schools.
Anyway.. we are cool with 13 for now.
Welcome. 2012. Enjoy.
