Since the Longhorn Network contract allows Texas to fire someone who makes the program look bad , who's going to be fired when K-State beats them again?

PLEASE tell me it will be Lou Holtz after he attempts to give a "pep talk" to them.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it will flop.

The only reason they got this thing was to keep ut from going to the pac12, which avoided giving fox the first super conference network with access to almost a 3rd of the country. So ESPN was like hey we'll give you your network AND do all the production for you. I'm sure Beebe helped orchestrate it to keep his job, which explains why he won't hop off their dick. Why no one brings this up is a mystery to me.

But this is bound to fail. And the conference's team will be wanting to leave, and ut will have burnt a bridge w/ the pac.

my problem with the LHN is that it IS a recruiting aid whether they show HS games or not. they can still aim a lot of programming to HS athletes. how about their "news" segments showing hi-lites of HS action, interviewing Friday night stars, etc. the high school athlete will be featured as much as possible and they will tune in to see themselves and their buddies on the tube. the texas brand will be in their sights and hearts. it is an unfair practice and it really pisses me off when i think that ESPN is bankrolling it and actually paying texas. yes, it will start off slow but it will pick up. i don't blame you guys for leaving. texas is ruining or has ruined two conferences now. i hope they go independent; they are NOT Notre Dame; they do NOT have a national following. they just think they do.
