Kansas has a new football coach and the fans are very optimistic this year. For basketball the conferences don't matter much as long as you make the tourney. We have R-Kansas so why not add Kansas too?

Having lived in KC metro for nearly 4 years, the economy is quite robust here. Kansas, in no way, shape, or form is southern. So so fit @ best. Would increase basketball revenue, but football would be a wash addition. KC.

The SEC needs to expand beyond its homogeneous culture and geography. Its one reason it needs to grab a team or two from beyond its traditional southern borders and markets.

PAC10 and B10 have realized this and are making the appropriate moves for their future revenue.
