For some reason that really appeals to me.

No, I know they are tied to OU. But everybody thought A&M was tied to Texas this time last year.

For some reason adding them appeals to me, probably because they are so close to Fayetteville.

Maybe with Pickens money and influence, we could make that happen.

I agree that OU and Okie State could be divided but I don't get why you would want OSU instead of OU?

Easier competition obviously.

Plus, Stillwater is as close to Fayetteville as Little Rock is. We have some history with them, 40 + games, versus OU, who we have played 3 times since 1926.

Plus, this would free OU and TX to go to the Pac-14 together, leaving the scraps for the Big East and MWC.

Because politically OU may not be able to move to another megaconference while OSU gets stuck in a conference which could conceivably lose its AQ. (Remember Texas' "Tech Problem" with the B1G?)

But if OSU moves first, and like A&M offers something different than its in-state rival (SEC participation), then OU can go elsewhere on its own with no "OSU Problem".

Also is it not unlikely that A&M may block an OU move? Not only does A&M have problems recruiting against Texas, in North Texas they have to go up against OU as well. Why invite a top competitor, who also happens to be among college football's elite programs, into your circle?

I think it would be in the best interest of the Big-12 and the SEC if there was a way the Big-12 could regroup, add some teams, and leave Texas behind. The main problem is obvious. Having said that, I don't see it happening.

if it was to join with us than Aggies would likely have no problem with OU to the SEC (as it would blow up the conference and erase exit fees).

I think adding OU and to a lesser extent OSU would negate the possible recruiting advantage we might gain from the move. I'm hoping a team in the east is added instead as 14.

OU would totally negate the recruiting edge. OSU, probably not so much since their recent success is mainly due to a gimmick offense (see Texas Tech).

Best scenario. Personally would prefer VT but NC State would be OK too.

Texas is going to end up pissing off the entire world of college football, and hurting themselves in the process.

Nice that he just proved what we have been saying for years. With just three words, at that.
