Frog, keep your chin up bro. You and the other Aggie fans we have corresponded with are great fans. Things may have worked out for the best at least for now. I think we all owe A&M a lot of credit for helping to twart a PAC 16 mega-conference. I much prefer a salvaged Big 12 to that mess the PAC 10 was trying to create.
Regardless of what the future may bring, I will always respect the Aggies and would still love to have you guys in the SEC at some point. /salute

The whole thing was just UT holding everyone else in the Big 12 hostage so they could get a better deal. They had to know they were never going to go West. They used the other 9 and the PAC 10 to get what they wanted. Screw the PAC 10 they deserve what they get. Colorado and that's it after all of that.

It is exactly the mutual respect that I feel for all of the SEC schools which makes this all the more painful.
Oh well back to playing the Missouri's, Kansas, K State's and dare I say it, the Iowa State's of the world (this sucks).

I have a feeling this is not over Aggie fans. Give it a week, a month or a year or two and Texas will try to screw you folks over again. I used to respect Texas a little but not anymore. I'll be pulling for you boys when the Texas game comes around.

The aggies have turned down the SEC twice now, after the break up of the SWC and now this.... how many chances do they deserve or get??????

Lot of stuff most of us will never know, but I don't think we turned the SEC down.
I think Mike Slive helped us get a better contract.

After all of this, I will be cheering for the Aggies harder than any other team outside of my Tigahs.
It will never happen, but would be absolutely awesome if the Aggies somehow won the Big 12 this year.
