while i think you have a good idea. I live here in charlotte and can tell you there just isn't that much market for college football here it's college basketball and nothing else. Plus a problem you will run into up here is that the majority of the people that live in charlotte come from somewhere else and have their own teams that they follow

WF isn't competitive in anything, especially basketball where they (at best) are the 4th best team in NC. Academically they're nowhere near Vandy.
If we were that desparate for a Baptist school we'd take Baylor -- at least they compete in women's basketball.
Eastern division, think VT first, NC State second, WV third, then FSU, GA Tech, Clemson.

wake is the smallest school in division 1a (not using those lame pc terms).
