i like A&M and believe they very much have their own identity w/o UTexas. Their alumni include Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen and Eva Longoria, which is very impressive. Also, A&M is also the home to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library.
however, i don't understand their claim to having the most military outside of the academies. i would think that The Citadel and VMI would have more. anyway, i'm glad to have the Aggies in the SEC.

College Station and the surrounding area is very country boy/redneck. They will fit RIGHT in. It's the horns that would not. However, the aggies game day traditions and how their fans are and wary hymn, and yell leaders, and hand signals most definitely will not.
All of my Kyle field games have been down close to the field therefore having the yell leaders practically right in my face. That probably sets the tone for the entire game and makes everything else just too strange. That and it felt like I was literally the only person among the thousands that had that WTF is this mentality. It's just odd there.
