Anyone considering Covid when setting their starting lineups for playoffs?

If I’m on a 50/50 decision or even 40/60, I’m wondering if it’s best to start the Thursday player who is cleared at game time compared to risking a positive test on a Sunday/Monday game. shite sucks

I think handcuffs will become more important during the playoffs.

Not sure that’s the best strategy for this. We keep seeing Covid positive(s) grouped together by position rooms on a team.

Dolphins backfield just got hit. Chargers WRs were close contacts and impacted.

I've gotten more redundant with positions (i.e. carrying two TEs) than in years past. Never know when they test positive.

At the least I’m making sure I have a handcuff option for Sunday and Monday night for a Higbee like situation. If that was Stafford, my opponent would have gotten Wolford before me and I’d have lost.

I know what you mean and I don’t disagree. I will say that Covid has been relatively low this season compared to last with the exception of the last week or two. If I remember correctly last year, position groups were kept as separate as possible to avoid an entire position group coming down with Covid. I believe you’ll see a lot more teams separating their players as much as possible. I remember when the Saints played Denver last year and they had to start a practice squad WR at QB or something like that because they didn’t follow protocol. These are the situations I believe teams will put plans in place to avoid.
