For the second time in 33 years, jumping and cheering in the stadium registered as a small earthquake on LSU's campus, according to a seismograph reading recorded during Saturday night's sold-out Garth Brooks concert.

Well, we know it wasn't LSU fans. They would have left half way through the set.

Thanks for posting.
Awesome concert. Tiger Stadium is the best!

No way it was louder than 2003 Georgia or 2007 Florida

From multiple reports. Many said it was one of if not the loudest they've heard Tiger Stadium including 03 UGA, 07 Florida and 2012 Bama game

Wasn't even close. Also can you really count it since it wasn't just crowd noise? Speakers blaring music from multiple locations kinda help no?

only objective way to confirm "actual crowd noise" and earthquake activity is to research the Geology Department archives and compare seismograph readings from the dates in question. We all agree the crowd noise can be deafening in TS. Pretty sure earthquake reading occur from people jumping up & down in the stands going crazy ... i.e. The Auburn game in 1988
