Just got back from Columbia some notes on my experience

So I took the student government sponsored bus trip to SC, first away game ever I was pretty psyched.
Coming into Columbia me and my friends commented that compared to BR they must not care about football there, our busses got lost, and as we drove around the city I think I saw one house flying a gamecocks flag. The rest were rockin tarheels flags (clearly cause they know NC is the surperior carolina)
Anyways the bus took us over to the lot by blowfish stadium (whatever its called) where all the other tiger fans were tailgating that was kinda fun but only cuz we brought our La. tailgating swagger to make it so.
once 7:00 rolled around we all headed over to willy-brice, finally saw a fair amount of cars and people adorned with cocks merchandise. Overall the fans seemed like friendly people joking with us in good humor about who was going to win.
Once we got to the vicinity around the stadium things heated up a bit. Me and my friend started yelling tiger ba9t, Geaux---->Tigers and all that shite. We got a whole buch of other fans going chanting L-S-U and all that probably my favorite part of the trip-just some friendly shite-talking to get me hyped for the game. I started slinging every cock pun I could think of at them the best their roudy fans could muster was: corndog, coonass, LSwho?
Once we got inside the stadium I found that to be pretty cool even though we were in the nosebleed of the north endzone, nice view you could see skyline and the fair in the backdrop only thing that sucked was that I was freezing my balls off. I'll give to them they got pretty loud for the size of their venue IMO. kinda made me laugh that one whole side of the stadium was screaming cocks. The space odyssey entry was pretty cool. The music I'll get dogged for it but the blared music gets more energy going so does the tiger band but if we could incoporate a little blaring music at the right moments tiger stadium would be much more rockin. Oh and one last thing in case were wondering at the AU game this year where the refs were yeah they moved to SC frick those refs.
Another favorite moment was as I left the stadium after our win...and the fans kept calling me corndog, I happened to pass a corndog stand from the fair..."you smell that I said to them...thats the smell of victory" they shut up real quick.
Overall good experience. Nice fans. Cool Stadium shitty location. mediocre tailgating but we still run that game down in BR.

So did we...some doofus said we "still smell". This was a guy who looked like the guy with glasses on the Alltel commericals that calls Chad a dork.
I'm used to the corndog thing. It bothers me about as much as 82 degree heat.
