Someone who knows Boston

Four couples going in October. Staying in Squantum at Orchard Beach. No rental car because of size of group. We are right on the water.
Is there an easy way to get to downtown Boston from there? Getting two Ubers is OK if our only option but was hoping for more flexibility.

Ubers will be easy but check your distance to the red line. Quincy isn’t far at all from being downtown.

Trying to decide the Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall vs Hyatt Seaport District.
Which area is best to stay at for typical tourists activities and with two young kids?

As much as I dislike Faneuil Hall, it’s a better location to be close to touristy things and better for kids than the Seaport.

Agree with above. Seaport is a cool spot to hit for a day but a bit out of that way for typical tourist stuff.
