Anyone snag tickets over the weekend? been a dawes fan for 10 or so years. their new record is on a different level musically and they seem to reinvent themselves every record.
Check out a song from their latest record:

I would love to go, but there’s no way I am paying $60 to see them.

I have never been able to get past the singer's voice .... the band just didn't do it for me, but decent get for the theater.

Saw them open for ELO in Houston a few years ago. Pretty good.

Damn. $60? I saw them at manship like 8 years ago and they were amazing but that’s steep.

They’re playing in September for free here in Winston-Salem at a yearly free bike race event.
Last fall I did see them in Durham in a sold out theater. $50-$60 seems about right.
Musically they get better with each album.

it's the smallest venue they are playing on the tour. tickets are going to go for more. very intimate experience.

Well worth it imo. Especially if its a small venue. They are incredible live.

I’m really digging this new album. It’s very jammy/jazzy. Totally different. I look forward to seeing them in a 2 weeks.

It’s definitely different. Whole vibe is really cool. They are stretching songs out and getting super creative.
