Whether you’re a deplorable or not the speech was just not informative for any issues that plague both the left and right. It was more of a convention speech that you give to your base. Joe doesn’t realize that he works for those who voted for him and those who didn’t. Politics has shifted from enabling the people through policy and maintaining our position as the best country in the world to simply one side winning and the other side losing. I don’t care what label I’m given but I do care about issues as a country. We’re now seperated into 51% and 49% buckets which is detrimental. With the common issues that we have we should be in 70/30 buckets. The closer the election results are the more divided we become because the candidates don’t appreciate the middle.

that's why the republicans are so scared. they never address much practical stuff except to blame others. the dems just got real bills passed even though sinema and Manchin held them up.

trump Ryan McConnell was not a winning team. at the time Trump appeared rightfully appalled that McConnell and Ryan did not come up with any real bills. many on here observe that republicans are the party of no.
being 100% in control for two years with nothing but part of a wall to show for it.

i did not waste my time listening to that dribbling idiot read. however, reading about the speech, i will say that this thing was all about establishing labels.

"MAGA republicans" and the claim that they are a threat to the constitution/country/etc.

the problem is that people buy that sh!t instead of thinking for themselvess.

Anyone who can look at that speech without emotion is ignorant of History.

The Left have gone full Nazi and last night was proof.

Democrats are groomers, criminals and Nazis....every single one of you and last night was proof.

The fact that you didn't wake up this morning and post an immediate mea culpa is proof that you are OK with this sort of 1930's Germany level rhetoric.

Congrats on being a piece of dog shite.

I agree. A large portion of voters just use the cliff notes of labels Vs informing themselves and taking a critical look as a whole. I’m a republican who has voted republican 90% of the time. The 10% I didn’t was because I agreed with the deomocrat’s platform more. The 10% was mostly in local elections but substance matters, or at least it should.

Funny that everything the Dems accuse the Republics of, they are guilty of. Joe Biden and his socialist agenda are the real threat to our republic. November is the last chance to stop his destruction of America.

and that's on Ryan and McConnell. The GOP leadership has been useless for too long.

Uniparty Republicans will come out agreeing with him this week.

They want to throw trump in jail. This was predictive program messaging.

honest questions
do you really believe that the "republicans" are fighting AGAINST the constitution?
do you believe that republicans think that for them to win, everyone else has to lose?
do you believe that republicans are for chaos?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, then you need to listen to this Rush Limbaugh speech. this is the best explanation of the "normal right" that has ever been said.
Rush is right

and once trump is found guilty of crimes against the state like espionage the maga support will evaporate. there will always be the romantic hoping for more of yesteryear. but Maga will be easy to beat in purple states in the general.
the immediate impact will be in the Senate races. the most Maga, Johnson R wisc, is toast.

I am not concerned about simply Trump. This is a false dichotomy that is allowed to exist as perpetrated by the left.

I can promise you I am far from ignorant of history but I’m able to separate substance from hyperbole. Sticks and stones… i was called a deplorable a few years ago and Trump was voted in. I was called an extremist and semi-fascist recently and will use my vote accordingly. It’ll take more than the ramblings of an angry old man and a red background to make me believe that we can’t make things better. People have their minds made up. His speech was his version of mean tweets. I’ll go to work today I’ll watch LSU Sunday and carry on as if he didn’t pander to his base. My circle of influence is small and the only thing I can control.

you say this
quote:

and once trump is found guilty of crimes against the state like espionage the maga support will evaporate.

and then say this
quote:

there will always be the romantic hoping for more of yesteryear.

how many times have the gotcha for Donald Trump failed? Yet the right is the group holding out hope? Look in the mirror.

I can tell you that Trump's value is that he has put hair on the balls of SOME republican politicians. He is not the end all for the right. but he is the first one to fight for the right in a long long time.

I notice you have not bothered to honestly answer any of my questions. typical.

And yet I haven’t had my power shut off or seen a cop or agent at my home. Maybe his label carries no weight? I won’t fight someone on the streets because they call me a name. I will fight when needed but it takes more than being called an extremist or a MAGA republican. When views I hold dear or no longer represented or the scales shift farther than I can handle, then I need to do what’s best for my family. Hopefully the Republicans can pick up enough votes from the middle. There’s voter arbitrage out there to be had.

Hey dumbass, Hitler didn't start by sending Jews to the gas chambers.

He started by giving incredibly threatening, divisive speeches sponsored by State Run Media...the other shite came later...

Understand now, groomer?
