1st time, thinking about strategy...8 team, 3 receivers, PPR

When do grab QB and QB2? Do draft a 3rd QB at the end?

I've been in 2 leagues with 2 QB for several years. I always prefer to have one of the top tier QBs and then another from the top of the next tier, but I rarely take the first QB from either. You certainly want to take advantage of the 2 QB opportunity and start 2 quality QBs, but you don't need to reach in a 8 team league. I'd rather have 2 mid range top 12 guys with stud RB/WR instead of J Allen and Tua for example. And yes, draft a backup later that doesn't share a bye week with your starters.

My QBs for my 2 leagues this season:
J Herbert (2nd round), K Cousins (5th rd), and T Lawrence (13th rd)
Burrow (2nd rd), T Lance (9th rd!), and D Carr (11th rd). I invested in insurance for the unknown of Lance.

Your huckleberry is right don’t need to reach in an 8 teamer (like you normally would) but you still want to make sure you get 2 good ones. If your behind everyone in qb talent that is a hard deficit to overcome every week. Grab a 3rd one for sure.
