Dumb student section!

Okay I am a student at LSU, and I was in the student section yesterday. (one of the few that stayed the whole game) Anyway when they introduced Lee at the beginning of the game the whole section started booing him. I mean really, what positive could come out of this. He is a 19 year old freshman who is playing against the top defenses in the nation. His confidence is affected by things like this. I mean do you really think Lee isn't trying his best to win. Booing him will only make things worse. We need to support this kid right now, so that he can have a good career and help us win another championship.

i wasn't there, but that is terrible. He's has been playing well (barring yesterday, namely four or 5 horrible decisions).

Dude, how trashed were you? I was there and there were cheers. They wasn't an explosion, but the whole student section didn't boo. He just got a normal "offensive lineman" clap, instead of the Matt Flynn/Glenn Dorsey explosion. Stop spreading lies.

I just feel like no one for LSU should get booed. If a player is getting booed for not playing well, I guarantee you that booing him won't make him play better.

My group and I actually got into the stadium RIGHT before kickoff (something I was mighty 
about) so we were forced to sit up HIGH right under the north jumbotron and I must say that part of the student section was PATHETIC they sat the majority of the game, did not do much cheering, and left at the beginning of the 4th qtr. (they were mostly greek) Im a senior and have NEVER witnessed a student section so quiet---that's the last time I'm late to a game---I will be sitting in the lower more lively student section that stayed full till the clock read 00:00

I wasn't in the Student Section but I was in the North Endzone 2 rows from the field. I didn't hear a single person boo Lee.

Ok I don't know about the rest of the stadium but the student section definitely booed. I'm not spreading lies.

Nobody booed Lee when he was announced unless it was you and your friends you were right next to. I was there and I didn't hear a single one when he was announced. Are you sure you remember the game all that well?

agreed. Student section sucks.
Limit the tickets and give them to the highest priority point getters. In the end, it will be better.

Yeah some jackass behind me was ripping him the whole game. Calling for Hatch. After the grounding call I said "yup he's 10x smarter". He then informed me Hatch is clearly the better QB and has the better arm.

Priority points are crap. If you want to do that make people swipe their cards on their way out and if you leave early you get put in the last group (the freshmen) the next year when ordering tickets or getting away game tickets.

I was on the field and didnt hear them boo. Quit dogging the student section because they are the ones that make the noise not grandma and grandpa who give money to TAF for 60yrs. Hard to be wild and crazy when we are down 21 pts or when the defense pumps the students up only to give a big play. Lay off the students arse holes because i guarantee you werent doing shite for the atmosphere

I really just have no idea where boos were. I heard none. They especially weren't in the WHOLE student section because me and the people around me clapped.
