They were in the Top 5, but have been smoked twice by two SEC teams that made them look like they were tOSU.

I think it's a toss-up between LSU and The Barn.

I wish I could disagree with that but I can't.

Clemson.

But it'll be UF after back to back losses to UGA and Vandy.

Uh, no. that trophy goes to Clemson, and you know it.

Clemson, Bama continues to suffer from low quality wins.

there are currently 2 teams that started the season top 10, that are 4-4 and 3-4

Yeah, I forgot about Clemson. They win the prize hands down. I expected LSU to lose 2-3 this year and they can still accomplish that.

Well, LSU has been consistently rated higher than AU. That tends to make me think LSU was more overrated.

I have seen some serious spin before, but this takes the grand prize.

I know what you mean brother. OTOH, the bad thing about always winning is how you lose sight of what it means. You have to get hungry every now and then.

fair enough. However, WV is on the upswing, so I''d say we're third...until we beat the tide with the worst defense in the SEC.

+1

As far as SEC team, I'd have to say AU. They were preseason top 10 I believe (maybe top 15, not sure).

We never gave up 50+ points, FWIW.

neither did LSU, turnovers added to point total on both losses.

No LSU has not been the most overrated team this year. They aren't even the most overrated in the West. That title goes to Auburn b/c most experts picked AU to finish first in the West. However, LSU has been a very overrated team to many including some LSU fans. I, on the other hand, believed a 9-3 season would be good after Perrilloux's departure. So they aren't overrated in my eyes. They are exactly where I thought they would be.
