Should the Democrats change the name of their party out of respect to black Americans?

We’ve seen countless states, cities businesses take down statues and memorials, we’ve seen the renaming of schools, streets, buildings and sports teams and whether we agree with this or not it was supposedly done as an act of empathy and social justice to the people who were offended by these various emblems of hate or insensitivity.
My fellow Americans, we have the bitter memories of 15 ton Jackass in the room that was the epitome of hate and oppression….that Jackass is known as the Democrat party. If there’s any institution that needs to change it’s name and rebrand it’s the Democrat party. This is the historical party of slavery, Jim Crow, red lining, lynchings, fire hoses and segregation.
With this ^^^^ said, shouldn’t the Democrats who truly believe in social justice, diversity, inclusion and equity demand that Democrat leadership change the name of the most hateful party in the history of US politics?

Stock up on food. The shortages are going to get really really bad next year.
Stock up on medicines if you need them.

Dry goods. Rice, beans, flour, sugar, coffee, got 1/2 a beef coming in December, plenty of spices, canned a buncha tomatoes, green beans, okra, quite a bit of canned goods. What I’m learning is how little food it takes each day for the average person to survive, 2000-3000 calories is plenty to remain healthy. Almost forgot…..vitamins!!!

Not sure how you got off on this ^^^ tangent with a question about the Dims renaming their historically racist party. I’m white and not the least bit ashamed of my European heritage.
