Another grade the trade request

10 team standard scoring league.
We start 2QB, 2RB, 2WR and 1Flex spot that is RB or WR only.
My team prior to the trade:
QBs: Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Trevor Lawrence
RBs: Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler, David Montgomery, AJ Dillon, Khalil Herbert
WRs: Hollywood Brown, DeVonta Smith, Brandin Cooks, Michael Thomas, George Pickens
Other team prior to the trade:
QBs: Justin Herbert, Kirk Cousins, Carson Wentz
RBs: Nick Chubb, Aaron Jones, Josh Jacobs
WRs: Tyreek Hill, Courtland Sutton, Garrett Wilson, Rashod Bateman, Robert Woods, Skyy Moore
I proposed a trade of AJ Dillon and Michael Thomas to him for Tyreek Hill.
He declined and countered with Khalil Herbert and Michael Thomas for Tyreek Hill.
I accepted immediately.
I would have preferred to keep my handcuff for Montgomery and send him his handcuff for Jones, but I felt like it was too good of a deal to risk missing by prolonging the negotiations.
I also think it is likely that Dillon has more value ROS if both Jones and Montgomery stay healthy all year, even though Dillon had some touches taken away last week.
Thoughts?

He did you a favor with that counter and great trade for you

That is how I felt. Big improvement for my WR group as well.

Not sure why he would do that, but good for you.

I am trying to get Hill as well.
I was thinking of Jeudy, Ertz, Singletary and MT for Hill. Probably too much, but I doubt he goes for anything less that I have.
That is way too much right? I think you did well.

Some are worried even when Tua comes back he is just another hit away from concussion issues all over again.
I am not worried with a guy like Hill. I think any QB and offense can have success with him.
I am just concerned to give up four players for one. If he got injured I would have royally screwed up.

I'm not going to say it is definitely way too much, but it certainly feels like a lot.

I wouldn't accept if I were him. Volume of players doesn't mean much in Fantasy Football trades unless the other guy just really sucked in the draft and free agency. Packaging a bunch of average players for a star doesn't work for most savvy managers. For each of those extra players you throw at him, he has to drop someone that is probably nearly/just as good.
